Reputedly from the personal collection of Leo Villa; a piece of Malcolm Campbell's famous Bluebird's tail section, (removed and retained after it was remodelled for additional stability), by repute later hand-engraved by Villa to feature a caricature of Malcolm Campbell, a depiction of the K3 craft and stamped '130.86 MPH'; the speed attained by Campbell on 17th September 1938 at Lake Hallwil, (breaking the World Water Speed Record in the process).
Provenance - By repute the same piece offered by Neales Auctioneers in their Nottingham salerooms, 23/24th July 1992 - as part of Lot 894 (the Leo Villa Collection).
