Introduced in 1950 with the option of a rigid or plunger frame and beige or black finish the Golden Flash quickly earnt a reputation for good performance and dependability. By the time that this black example was produced the rigid option had ceased and the majority were finished in the beige colour that echoed the models name.
This example spent much of its life in Essex before moving to the Scottish highlands. The machine was restored approximately eight years ago and benefited from an engine rebuild about three years ago whilst in the ownership of an engineer.
The current owner describes the motorcycle as being in good condition both mechanically and cosmetically with just a tickle and a good kick being required to start her.
She is offered with a Swansea V5 registration document, an MOT certificate valid until the 11th December 2006 and a Road Fund Licence that does not expire until the 30th November 2006.
