  Lot 53

1971 Jensen Interceptor II

Lot details
Registration No: FYX 4J
Chassis No: 123/4137
Mot Expiry: April 2014

Said to be original and unmolested, this nicely presented Interceptor MKII has reportedly had just four owners to date. The first retained the car for no less than 19 years before passing it on to a member of the same family, who kept it for a further seven. The vendor informs us that 'FYX 4J' has been well maintained throughout and that the extensive history file contains receipts for the work carried from 1971 until now, thereby confirming the total indicated mileage of 49,900. The Interceptor is finished in the pleasing combination of Metallic Reef Blue bodywork and Cream/Beige leather interior, of which the vendor says "the bodywork is very good for its age and the interior is original and in superb condition". This handsome Jensen is being offered complete with many previous MOTs and one valid until April 24th 2014, plus lots of other paperwork and two sets of keys. It starts first time, gear changes are very smooth and sounds superb. It will be driven 100 miles to the auction and can be driven with confidence.

All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.

You can collect your new pride and joy from our venue until 1pm the day following the sale or our partners are on hand to help arrange safe transportation:
