The PA Midget was launched in March 1934 as a replacement for the J2. A total of 1,973 are said to have left the Abingdon plant before the model was supplanted by the incoming PB. This handsome example is finished in two-tone Green. Its upholstery and carpets are presented in suitably complementary shades of the same colour, while the Midget sports a Black hood and rides on Silver-painted wire wheels. It vacated Abingdon on March 9th 1934 and the vendor informs us that it has remained within the same ownership since the 1960s. The MG was treated to an extensive restoration 25 years ago, since when it has apparently travelled just 1,700 miles. He currently regards its two-seater bodywork, paintwork, interior trim, 847cc four-cylinder engine and four-speed manual gearbox as all being in `very good' order. This appealing PA is being sold complete with green log book, V5C and a selection of old MOTs.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
