Lot details
Registration No: F468OJE
Chassis No: AKK03044271974705
Mot Expiry: Oct 2015

Entered from a deceased estate based in Spain's exclusive Sotogrande district, `F468 OJE' was sold to its late owner by Hallmark Sportscars of Hainault `Britain's Premier Specialists in Cobras and Replica Cars' for £28,750 on 16th January 2013. Hallmark described the car thus: `Launched in 1989, AK Sportscars - under the guidance of Ken Freeman and family - quickly established itself as one of the front runners in the Cobra field. Using a sturdy ladder frame chassis with Jaguar underpinnings, good handling and stopping are assured. This example ranks as one of the best we've owned. Built by a professional engineer with a budget for parts alone in excess of £35,000. Fitted with 350ci Chevy V8 built by British American Engines producing 350bhp and 380lbft. Edlebrock 600cfm Performer carburettor, Tremec TR3550 5-speed manual gearbox, oil cooler, all Jaguar suspension refurbished at the AK factory. Fully lined / dressed engine bay with braided hoses, stainless steel header tank and water bottle. Stainless steel fuel tank, underfloor exhausts with stainless steel headers, MSD digital distributor with MSD Blaster 2 coil, power steering. Finished in Jaguar British Racing Green Metallic at a cost of £3,000 by SMS Paintworks. Contrasting Magnolia leather upholstery with Wilton carpets, Willans harnesses, Smiths instruments, Motolita woodrim steering wheel and heater. Seventeen-inch Halibrand replica wheels shod with Toyo tyres, twin hoop roll bars with third leg for extra strength. Stone guards, bumpers, mesh grille, sun visors, wind deflectors, twin `Aston' filler caps, triple wipers and full Mohair weather gear. A very beautiful and blisteringly quick car that you can be justly proud of. Even the SVA tester remarked that it was the best one he'd seen!' Reputed to have covered some 5,800 miles since completion in 2005, `F468 OJE' is offered for sale with V5C Registration Document (which lists its make as `AK Sportscars') and sundry paperwork.

PLEASE NOTE: This lot has a MOT certificate valid until October 2015.
