Yamaha produced a limited number of TZ50 production race bikes between 1990 and 1991 specifically for use in a Japanese National Championship. Subsequently a very limited number of the machines were exported to the United States and Europe. This example has come from Holland where it was maintained by one of the country's most highly regarded two-stroke engineers, Ron Bron.
It is equipped with the factory A Kit tuning package which may explain the absence of an engine number on the unit fitted to the machine. The original cases displaying numbers matching the frame are included with the motorcycle as part of a comprehensive spares package. Other parts accompanying the machine include crankshafts, cylinders, ignitions, an almost complete engine with the original cases, gearboxes with long and short ratios, pistons and rings, an exhaust system and muffler, shocks, sprockets and documentation from the first owner including an owners manual, bills form Ron Bron and race programmes.
Engineered to a very high standard this little machine would make a fine addition to any TZ collection.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
