BSA thrived during the latter half of the 1920's, despite the tough economic climate, by offering a comprehensive range of machines that provided reliable transport that was soundly designed and engineered offering good performance. The S30 Light was one of a pair of overhead valve vertical cylinder singles produced by the company and complimented by the "sloper" 500's. Intended for solo use it was built to a lighter specification than its sibling offering sprightly performance.
This example is offered in 80 % restored condition with the majority of the cycle parts refinished to a good standard, the wheels rebuilt and the engine reputedly rebuilt. The previous owner had commenced the restoration approximately 8 years ago before "running out of steam". A dating certificate and a number of parts are included with the machine.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
