- Comes with extensive document file containing build sheets, invoices of work completed and details of the previous owners

- Apart from normal mechanical running repairs this is an all original and never subject to major restoration in all of its 83 years

- Original interior, large sunroof, and has attractive features such as trouser crease wings, P-100 headlights, and ornate woodwork with box inlay and Ace wheel discs

- MOT expired in September 2019 but stated that the engine starts easily and runs very well

- Previous owner, a Rolls-Royce enthusiast member owned the car for 57 years

- Body work is showing signs of age and there are areas of blistering to the paintwork but on a whole is a pleasing example of a Rolls-Royce of this age

Short ownership brief:

It was first ordered and registered on 18/06/1936 by the American Embassy on behalf of Mr Harvey S Mudd a wealthy American copper mine owner who took up ownership of the vehicle on the 24/06/1936. He kept the car in London for use solely when he was there on business. Later purchased by Anthony Joseph Dexel Biddle Jr. American Ambassador of 40, Berkeley Square, London W1 in 1941 who received special core diplomatic terms.
