Although Zagato did body some Fulvias for Lancia, the best known coupe was the factory's own. Originally 1216cc powered, later Fulvias had 1298cc engines, whilst many of the `High Fidelity' Fulvias, which did so well on the European rally circuit, were of 1584cc capacity.
This Fulvia - an original UK market, right-hand drive Series 3 - was supplied to a first owner in Scotland. According to the current owner, the interior is lovely and the front-wheel drive coupe is an excellent and very useable driver. The fixed head two-door has just benefited from over £1000 of refurbishment, which included engine work, new brake discs and minor attention to paintwork.
Bodyshell condition is described as good with green painted panels fair and black tex interior excellent. The 1.3-litre V4 is reportedly in good order and the five-speed manual transmission excellent as is the electrical equipment.
The history file is claimed to be fantastic with original purchase invoice, lots of old bills detailing work carried out and former MOTs, the current one valid until January next year. The 70,700 miles displayed when entered is believed by the entrant to be the genuine total.
