Introduced during 1955, the Venom and Viper were developments of the existing MSS and MAC models intended to offer those seeking a sporting single an alternative to the BSA Gold Star. Mechanical changes were largely confined to higher compression ratios, cams of a more sporting profile and an increase in the size of the carburettors whilst the appearance was enhanced with the adoption of more brightparts and a headlamp nacelle.
This example of the 500cc Venom appears to be complete but is offered in need of a total restoration.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
