One of the most desirable of all Michelin enamel signs produced, this rare, large, rectangular, four coloured single-sided sign is believed to originate from Belgium. Produced on flat steel, this colourful & highly attractive sign features a yellow base enamel, with great pictorials of the early smoking Mr Bibendum, holding two narrow tyres, with 'Michelin' lettering to the central red flash. A well-preserved example, retaining a good level of gloss, totally free of any restoration. Some loss & chipping to the edges & around the mounting holes, otherwise superb. 24 x 18 inches
