This right-hand drive SL320 benefits from the later V6 engine and optional five-speed automatic transmission. Finished in Metallic Amber Red with Light Beige Nappa leather upholstery, the Mercedes-Benz was retained by its original elderly owner until his death circa a year ago. Since then it has had to have another owner in the V5 to enable the transfer of a private number plate which his son wanted to retain for obvious reasons. The SL320 needed to be MOT'd for this purpose and was serviced at Mercedes of Stratford-upon-Avon at the same time. The only fault they found with the car was that its spare key battery was flat (promptly replaced). Whilst the SL320 was at the dealership they commented that it was the nicest R129-series car they had seen in years. The Mercedes-Benz comes with the original owner's books, purchase invoice (showing he part-exchanged an older sports model for this one) all old MOTs, service and repair receipts, old tax discs, 3 sets of keys and the original leather wallet. The SL has only covered approximately 100 miles since the service and now shows a warranted c.49,200. Described by the vendor as having "mint" bodywork, paintwork, wheels, tyres, engine and drivetrain, this SL320 is all in all quite simply one of the nicest R129-series cars we have encountered.

PLEASE NOTE: The vendor informs us that the specification of this lot also includes a hardtop (non-panoramic), wind blocker and xenon headlamps.
