1988 Bentley Eight

Sold for £10,406

(including buyers premium)

Lot details
Registration No: F128PNC
Chassis No: SCBZE00A4KCH24671
Mot Expiry: March 2005

We understand that this example of the Bentley Eight that the righthand drive car was originally supplied by Strattons of Wilmslow in 1988 to its first, and only owner in Alderley Edge, Cheshire. Although the saloon was first registered in that owner's company name and later transferred to his own name, the vehicle has remained in the same ownership from new. During this time, and according to its odometer reading, it had covered 97,086 miles when entered for the auction and this is believed by the vendor to be the total mileage for the car from new. It also benefits from having been in receipt of official Bentley agent service history for the first 86,000 miles.
F128 PNC is finished in the very desirable Tudor Red, complemented by a leather interior in magnolia piped in red with red carpets and lambswool over-rugs. Interestingly, too, on this particular Bentley, both grille and interior have been taken from the Turbo model and were installed by the Crewe factory when the car was new at considerable extra cost. The vendor informs us that the high performance luxury motor car is in excellent overall condition with bodywork, paintwork, interior, 6750cc 8-cylinder motor and 4-speed automatic transmission all reportedly in excellent order. WE are told that the rear tyres have been renewed, whilst in the history file is an AA data check and the MOT is current until next March.

All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.

You can collect your new pride and joy from our venue until 1pm the day following the sale or our partners are on hand to help arrange safe transportation:
