Lot details Registration No: M 166 Chassis No: N/A Mot Expiry: Exempt
'M 166' is a 1902 Puritan that was first registered in the UK in July 1972. Its initial owner on this side of the Atlantic was one Peter Harper of Stretton, Cheshire, who fairly soon parted with it to William Ford of Kibworth Beauchamp, Leicestershire. In February 1974 its title changed to the current vendor, then of London but now Kendal, Cumbria, who has owned the vehicle ever since. One of probably only two such Locke-built steam cars currently residing in the British Isles, 'M 166' features a Black chassis, Green bodywork and Red trim and is being offered complete with Veteran Car Club Certificate, current and older V5 documents and its original UK log book. A rare and interesting veteran of historical significance.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
