According to paperwork on file this Fiat 500 Abarth was extensively reworked by Italian car tuning specialist ProAlfa of Watford. Fitted with a ProAlfa hybrid Garrett turbocharger, ported manifold, larger intercooler, free flow 2.5 inch exhaust and upgraded Bosch fuel injectors etc, its 1.4 litre four-cylinder engine is understood to have developed 227bhp and 297lbft of torque.

To better cope with such prodigious outputs, the ‘hot hatch’ boasts a high performance clutch, adjustable suspension and uprated Brembo 330mm vented front disc brakes gripped by 4-pot callipers. Road legal albeit with a Daytime Use Only MOT Certificate, ‘R4 VBB’ has been prepared for circuit usage with a full Custom Cages roll cage, rear seat delete, CAE gear linkage, lightweight windows, aluminium sheet door cards, Sparco high-backed bucket seats, Sparco harnesses and OMP steering wheel. The plumbed-in fire extinguisher will require servicing come September 2021.

Riding on Abarth alloy wheels and sporting a distinctive rear aerofoil, this appealing Fiat 500 apparently had its cambelt, tensioners and water pump replaced at circa 45,000 miles (approximately 13,000 miles ago).
