This handsome righthand-drive Basalt Black 996 Series Turbo has been in its current ownership since 2016, displays 64,500 miles and has jsut been treated to a minor service. This rapid but highly usable classic is now being offered complete with: interior carbon pack; Tracker (a fresh subscription will be required); owner’s manuals and service book; and large collection of invoices for work carried out over the years plus private registration number. The all-wheel drive 996 Turbo debuted at the 1999 Frankfurt Salon and is powered by a water-cooled, twin-turbo, flat-six engine of 3.6-litres, that’s a direct development of the Le Mans-winning Porsche GT1 of the previous year. The unit’s output is a suitably substantial 414bhp and 415lb ft of torque – sufficient for a 0-60mph time of 4.2 seconds and 190mph top speed.
