The 3.0 Z3 was the largest engine fitted to the Z3’s other than the M-specification cars, with the production run only spanning the period of 2000 to 2002. Offered with both manual and automatic five-speed ZF transmissions, only 18,378 examples are thought to have been produced in both Coupe and Roadster specifications making the 3.0i one of the rarer variants of Z3 manufactured.
This widebody car was produced in 2000 with the 3.0-litre straight-six M54-engine, which was said to produce 228hp when new. First UK registered on the 29th of September 2000, this example is finished in Schwartz Black with matching Black leather interior and Black hood. Benefitting from the factory option of Heated Seats, the Z3 3.0i also boasts the original BMW First Aid Kit and CD Changer. Having only three former keepers and 34,410 miles from new, the Z3 was last serviced at 33,102 miles by a BMW Specialist, as showing in the stamped service book which presents a number of stamps, mostly from BMW and Specialist. The 3.0i is additionally accompanied by two keys, V5C and a quantity of BMW books including dealer warranty guide, owners handbook, and operating instructions for RDS, presented in the original wallet.
