Ever since the first Austin and Morris Mini Coopers debuted in September 1961 enthusiasts have been dressing up lesser variants to look like their more famous, 'go faster' siblings (a trend which shows no signs of abating given the ever increasing prices of original Cooper and Cooper S models). Beginning life as MKII Mini 1000, this particular example has only recently been transformed into a MKI Cooper Evocation. Repainted in its original Almond Green but with the additional of a White roof, the diminutive saloon boasts a wood rim steering wheel and front bucket seats to its re-trimmed interior. Riding on wider Cooper-style wheels, 'JBG 847F' also features a Cooper-style 998cc engine fed by twin SU carburettors and Cooper-style front disc brakes. The fitment of a MKI radiator grille and MKI tail lights help complete the illusion.
