The Honda 400/4 was a revelation at the time of its introduction and is now regarded as one of the true Japanese classics. Described by some as the poor mans superbike, it introduced technology that had previously been the preserve of large capacity machines to the average rider and succeeded in dispelling the myth that the Japanese could not build motorcycles that handled.
This example is fitted with an aftermarket exhaust system, rear shock absorbers and a carrier but is otherwise apparently standard. The fuel tank has been repainted and the rest of the cosmetics are described as fair. The electrical system functions correctly and a Mot certificate valid until June 2007 accompanies it.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
