A rare 26 page Italian magazine, dated 15th April 1935, covering the story of Pierro Taruffi's racing career. Well illustrated, with photographs of him racing both motorcycles & cars, with Italian text throughout. No.68 of this particular pre-war driver profile series. Rare & offered in good, well-read condition, with only minor wear to the spine. Piero Taruffi (born in Rome, October 12, 1906 - died January 12, 1988), was one of the most successful pre-war Italian drivers & was also the father of Priscilla Taruffi, who went on to have a successful racing career. He went on to drive Formula 1 between 1950 - 1956 & drove for Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz, Maserati & Vanwall.
