Widely regarded as the "Bible" for enthusiasts of the Alfa Romeo TZ, GTA, GTA 1300 junior, or the GTA race cars of the 1960's-1970's. The book covers the development, homologation of parts, and pieces for FIA racing, and the individual history of the Alfa Romeo "lightweight" GTA variations listed by VIN#.
The book is incredibly comprehensive with many pictures of the cars racing, photos of the various FIA homologation documents submitted to allow the cars to run with competition options. Factory photos of the various components, such as engine blocks, transmissions, Suspension and body modifications. Photos inside, and outside of Autodelta, the factory competition arm (much like AMG is to Mercedes Benz), founded by Carlo Chitti and the Chizzola brothers in the early 1960's.
Indeed they were involved in the creation of the Alfa Romeo TZ1, and of course, the TZ2 as well as the immortal GTAs in their various configurations. The book comes with 4 blue prints (reprinted for this book) of engine details. Offered in good condition, shrinkwrapped, with cardboard packaging.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
