Sold with a later newspaper cutting referring to Eyston's Thunderbolt car in New Zealand (2)
At Utah in the summer of 1938 Captain G.E.T. Eyston twice broke the World's Land Speed Record. Initially he raised it to 345mph, some 34mph above the existing record, before increasing it to 357mph.
