Comprising a card believed to date from circa Christmas 1934, the card features the image of a large motorcar driving along side horses & a carriage, captioned 'The March of Progress'. When opened, the inside page features a monotone image of Dixon, plus his printed signature. The main printed message reads 'Yes! I wish you all the happiness you deserve, and I do hope you steer clear of Dame Fortune's daughter - Miss Fortune. She's not so good! Very good original condition throughout with little wear & only a small paperclip mark to the top of the inside page. Together with a card believed to date from Christmas 1937, the card features the image of Capt. Eyston aboard 'Thunderbolt' (in action) to & gold message to third page reads ' With Best Wishes from Captain & Mrs. George Eyston for Christmas & the New Year' plus ' 52, Lennox Gardens, SW1 1937 - 1938. Very good original condition throughout. Together with a similar card with pasted image to the front of a later car, with internal message 'with our best wishes for Xmas and the New Year from Captain George Eyston, 52 Lennox Gardens SW1'. Again, offered in good condition. (3)
