Lot details Registration No: M810XRO Chassis No: SCFAA1114SK100125 Mot Expiry: Aug 2014
Though the memorable styling of the DB7 owed much to the Jaguar XK180 and stillborn F-Type, the final look was crafted by in-house designer Ian Callum. Power came from a supercharged, Jaguar-derived straight-six unit of 3.2-litres capacity. Some 7,000 DB7s were manufactured - by far the most of any Aston to date. 'M810 XRO' is finished in Silver Grey Metallic and trimmed in a mix of Grey and Blue hide. It is a tidy-looking, righthand drive, manual transmission example that's had 10 keepers to date. It is considered by the current one to have: 'good' bodywork, paintwork, six-cylinder engine and five-speed gearbox, though he notes the attractive interior is now showing 'slight signs of wear'. The Aston currently displays an unwarranted total mileage of 84,710 and is being sold complete with copies of seven previous service records, tax until the end of March, plus six old MOT certificates and one valid to August 1 2014.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
