Supplied new via Harvey Hudson (Jaguar) of Woodford, `G126 UMT' was first owned by a foreign businessman who only used it during visits to London. Kept garaged the rest of the time, the XJ6 was serviced and maintained by Woodstock Motors of North London from 1992 onwards. Transferred into company ownership the following year, the saloon remained in occasional use until 1999 when it was put into long-term storage. Purchased by the vendor - a keen Jaguar enthusiast - in 2012, `G126 UMT' was entrusted to Woodstock Motors and CFS Motors for recommissioning and an electrical overhaul respectively. The vendor notes that the bodywork has "one or two marks" and that the Metallic Red paintwork is "unfaded", while he rates the Tan interior as "very good". Offered with unused tool kit / jack, spare wheel, handbooks, original radio/cassette with operating manual, special windscreen wiper for winter use (still packaged-up), Swansea V5 and MOT "with no advisories" to February 2014.
