Lot details Registration No: PVV765V Chassis No: 409/7343 Mot Expiry: None
Originally registered PPC 255E, this 409 has just emerged from a decade in storage and will require recommissioning before returning to the road. Little is known of its early history but the four previous keepers it has had since 1991 are documented in its paperwork. The accompanying history file contains details of much previous work including attention to the body and a repaint in 1992, a gearbox and carburettor overhaul by Bristol Cars in 1994 and an engine overhaul by Trevor Carr in 1996. In the previous owner's hands from 1998 to 2013, the odometer now displays 58,183 miles with the mileage on the earliest accompanying expired MoT certificate (1992) being recorded as 41,434 miles. Finished in silver with black leather interior, this elegant gentleman's express is offered with Swansea V5 document, assorted old MoTs, invoices for works carried out, photographs of the body restoration, a 1998 bill of sale, 1991 'Type 400 to Britannia' BOC chassis list and copy instruction manual.
