This stunning-looking RT is one of only 252 produced between 1997 and 1998, has covered a mere 51,000 warranted miles from new, and is finished in the alluring combination of Wildberry bodywork teamed with Sandstone-coloured hide interior trim. It was supplied new by Appleyard Rippon of Leeds to a Mrs Rooney of Halifax in September 1997. Its Mulliner extras comprised: chromium instrument bezels, Bentely embroidered headrests, a pair of fitted umbrellas and 'Mulliner' sill plates - the Bentley's total cost was £132,256. The vendor presently considers this fine motorcar to have 'excellent' bodywork, upholstery, V8 engine and automatic transmission, and 'very good' Metallic paintwork, and is now offering it complete with: full service history (main dealer to 2007 and specialist thereafter); original order form, build records and sales invoice; lambswool over-rugs; full book pack; pair of keys; old MOT certificates; toolkit; locking nuts; spare wheel cover; unused white gloves.

Introduced for the 1995 model-year, the 'new' Bentley Turbo R was little changed outwardly. It was still based around the familiar four-door monocoque bodyshell equipped with all round independent suspension (self-levelling at the rear), ventilated ABS disc brakes and power assisted steering, but its turbocharged 6750cc V8 engine employed a more sophisticated Zytek EMS3 management system. Developing 385bhp and 553lbft of torque, the unit was somewhat tamed by the adoption of ETAS (Electronic Traction Assistance System) from 1996. Available from autumn 1997 onwards, the 1998 model-year RT borrowed various mechanical features from its Continental T sibling and could thus boast 400bhp and a maximum torque of 590 lb ft. Visually distinguished by a mesh grille and mesh inserts to its colour-coded bumpers, the turbocharged Bentley could accelerate from 0-60mph in six seconds and attain 155mph flat out. The RT models were fitted with an active ride suspension system, 'easy-entry' tilt steering wheel, and galvanised zinc coating to the underside.

The vendor has described the condition as follows:

- Bodywork.. excellent
- Engine.. excellent
- Electrical equipment.. Very good
- Paintwork.. Very good
- Transmission or gearbox.. excellent
- Interior trim. excellent
