Lot details Registration No: MUC 156 Chassis No: WOF52 Mot Expiry: Exempt
Finished in black / silver with cream leather, WOF52 carries saloon coachwork by Hooper & Co and is fitted with a rare kneeling lady mascot. Delivered to its first owner, a Capt. J S Barclay of New Malden, Surrey on 14th January 1952, and registered MUC 156, the car then spent a period in Guernsey before being acquired by Prince Abdullah Ben Saud of Hyde Park Crescent, London. Understood to have been the subject of restoration work in the UK at some point, the car has more recently resided in Northern Ireland. Described by the vendor as running and driving well with "good" bodywork, "good" engine and "very good" interior and transmission, he advises further improvements could be made to some areas of its paintwork and electrics together with re-chroming of the rear bumpers. In the current ownership since 2007, it is offered with Swansea V5, assorted invoices, old MoTs, and copy chassis cards.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
