Register to Bid

Registering to bid with H&H Classics can take place in various ways and can be done both in person or remotely.

In order to bid via any method, please provide photographic ID such as a driving licence or passport.

IN PERSON

Attend the venue and Bid Live at every auction

TELEPHONE

Pre-Register to Bid Live on the Telephone for Motor Cars, Motorcycles and Registration Numbers.

A Telephone Bid is one whereby you request that an H&H staff member is on the telephone to you while a given Lot (or Lots) goes under the hammer. The H&H staff member acts as your agent during the conversation and allows you to participate in the live bidding.

We undertake Telephone Bids at our own expense. Staff members will endeavour to call you well in advance of your chosen Lot in order to provide any updated information or Sale Room Notices.

A Commission Bid is one whereby you give the Auctioneer written authorisation to bid on your behalf up to a certain set limit. The Auctioneer will always to try to obtain the Lot as cheaply as possible whilst taking into account the reserve price and other bids. Please be aware that we cannot exceed your set limit.

AGENT

Pre-Register for someone to Bid Live on your behalf on any Lot.

If you are unable to bid via any of the other methods above, it is possible to nominate another person to bid on your behalf. We would require written confirmation in advance of the auction giving consent for your nominated person to bid on your behalf along with a copy of your photographic identification. Your nominated person will also need to provide their photographic identification at the auction.

PLEASE NOTE: We will make reasonable efforts to execute Commission and Telephone Bids when instructed provided they are received by 5pm the day before the Auction. Lot(s) will be bought as cheaply as is allowed by other bids and reserves. Where more than one Commission Bid is submitted at the same winning amount, the Commission Bid submitted to the Auctioneer first will be the winning bid. We reserve the right to request a refundable deposit of approximately 10% of the intended bid amount.
